Happy fall everyone: We have some exciting happenings to let you know about. Upcoming, in October, we will launch ACBI Information Station calls, to be held via zoom the second Monday of the month, and our first is October 12th at 7:00 PM EST. These calls are being launched to connect our members and to provide a forum to learn about and discuss topics of interest to our community. In our first ACBI Information Station call we will explain more about these calls, discuss your topic interests, and how to stay up-to-date and connect; as well as to explore a very timely subject, accessible absentee voting.
ACBI has been very involved in moving the ball forward for accessible absentee voting and we’d like to include your experiences and comments in our efforts. Your voice is the most important!
We, unfortunately, will not have our regular convention this year, but the ACBI Information Station calls is our way to provide information and to keep our community connected in an ongoing manner.
We will, however, hold our annual business meeting on Saturday November 14th at 10:00 a.m., so we sincerely hope you will take this opportunity to attend what is usually an in-person meeting, but will be conducted this year from the comfort of your home. Look for an email from the [Indiana-L] email list in October introducing this year’s nominees for our elections, and please let me know of any possible items for our agenda.
Lastly, I will be releasing a monthly email via the [Indiana-L] email list with a hello and timely info from the ACBI’s President’s Desk. So please stay tuned for these announcements and zoom info., to be shared through the [Indiana-L] email list, our Facebook page, and this website.
